Troubleshooting Tips
Excessive Blackouts in
planes
if you are experiencing excessive
blackouts in planes this may be caused by your
controls being oversensitive. the first step to
try is to goto the ww2ol keymapper calibration
screen. hit the 'reset' button in the top left
corner. this will default your global.calib file
to the default values in case by accident some
sensitivity filtering settings are causing your
controls to be oversensitive.
the next step would be to lower the
sensitivity of your joysticks x and y axis a bit,
this is done on the ww2ol calibration screen and
there is a full tutorial on this website.
NOTE: if you use seperate .calib
files for certain vehicles or vehicle types
[calibration tutorial -adavnced tricks] such as
air.calib. you'll need to delete the file and
recreate it from scratch to reset it to what you
wanted.
Planes or Vehicles handling
differently
same as above, reset or recheck your
calibration files.
NO Joystick input or JS
input really 'wacky'
this can be caused by certain usb
keyboards that install extra HID-device drivers
that cause problems in ww2ol and are not really
needed. there are a couple of solutions for this,
the first is to replace your usb keyboard with a
ps/2 one or use an adapter, the other is go into
'device manager' for your OS and disable the
offending hid devices under the HID device
header.. [you'll have to disable them one at a
time to see which one fixes the problem]
